Gate 50 is The Cauldron — the Spleen gate of values, the instinctive keeper of the laws and norms that hold the tribe together across generations. In Ra Uru Hu's cross framework, Gate 50 occupies the Conscious Earth of the Juxtaposition Cross of Mutation, grounding Gate 3 (Difficulty at the Beginning / Ordering). The Cauldron holds what is nourishing — and Gate 50's role in mutation is to preserve what must not be discarded when everything else is being transformed. The Left Angle Cross of Wishes (line 5–6 expression of Gate 50) turns this values-keeping into a transpersonal theme: the individual becomes the carrier of communal wishes and ideals, the guardian who ensures that the tribe's deepest aspirations are not forgotten in the turbulence of change.
