Editorial Overview

Reflectors comprise roughly 1% of humanity — the rarest Type, the most deeply misunderstood, and the one Ra Uru Hu had the least initial material on when the system was first revealed. In the years that followed, Ra developed his understanding of Reflectors with increasing depth and care, and Reflector Reflections represents his most complete dedicated address to this extraordinary Type.

The Reflector is unique in having no consistently defined Centers in their design — all nine Centers are undefined or open. This means the Reflector is in a constant state of sampling, reflecting back, and amplifying whatever energy moves through their space. Where other Types have stable internal anchors (the Generator's Sacral, the Splenic Manifestor's impulse, the Projector's focused penetration), the Reflector's consistency comes from the only constant in their design: the Moon.

Ra explains the 28-day lunar cycle strategy with precision — not as a rule to follow, but as a mechanical reality. The Reflector's design is literally keyed to the Moon's 28-day transit through the 64 gates of the Mandala. Over that cycle, each gate activates in sequence, and the Reflector experiences every flavor of definition as the Moon passes through. This is the Reflector's built-in decision-making mechanism: waiting through the full cycle to feel all the facets of a major decision before committing.

The result of living this correctly is the Reflector's signature: surprise — genuine, ongoing wonder at the variety and depth of human experience as it moves through them.
