Centers

Voice

In Human Design, the Voice refers to both the function of the Throat Center (manifestation and communication) and the specific quality of expression carried by each of the Throat Center's 11 gates. Each Throat gate expresses a distinct voice quality: for example, Gate 1 (I am), Gate 16 (I experiment), Gate 20 (I am now), Gate 35 (I feel). The Voice is considered defined or consistent only when a motor is directly connected to the Throat through a channel. Voice is the bridge between internal energy and external expression.
