Tone
One of the sub-levels in the advanced Color/Tone/Base layering of the Human Design system — used in PHS (Primary Health System) and Variable analysis. Tone is the second layer of depth within each Color, further refining how awareness and digestion function for the individual. Tones are divided into Transductive (Tones 1–3) and Receptive (Tones 4–6), indicating whether the individual processes information through active filtering or receptive sampling. Tone analysis is part of the advanced Rave Psychology layer.
