South Node

In Human Design, the South Node (along with the North Node) activates specific gates in the Human Design chart. On the Design (unconscious) side, the South Node contributes to the Environment — the physical geometry of the vehicle's past trajectory and the environments it draws from. On the Personality (conscious) side, the South Node influences the View or Perspective. The Nodes define the overall geometry of a being's trajectory through life — the South Node representing the pull of the past, the North Node pointing toward the future.
