Rave New Year
In Human Design, the Rave New Year is not January 1st but the moment when the Sun enters Gate 41 — the Gate of Contraction (approximately late January to early February each year). Gate 41 is the Gate of Decrease in the I-Ching and represents the beginning of the yearly cycle in the Human Design Mandala: the first gate activated in the annual Solar transit sequence. The Rave New Year marks the energetic beginning of a new cycle and is observed as the true threshold of the new year in the Human Design system.
