Authority

Outer Authority

The correct role of the mind in Human Design — speaking about what one observes and experiences outward, to be of potential use to others in their decision-making process. Since the mind is not a reliable inner authority for one's own decisions, its highest function is as an Outer Authority: sharing perspectives, insights, and information outward, not as guidance for the self. The mind is meant to be a passenger, not a driver — its gift is communication, not personal direction.
