Open Center
Any of the nine Centers in the Human Design BodyGraph that is undefined (not colored in) in an individual's Human Design chart. Open centers take in, amplify, and reflect back the energies of defined centers in those around them. They are the primary source of conditioning — and also the seat of potential wisdom, when one learns to be a witness to the energy rather than identified with it. The consistent amplification from open centers is what drives Not-Self behavior.
