Nine-Centered Being is Ra Uru Hu's term for modern human beings — specifically those born after approximately February 1781, when Ra identified the beginning of a mutation in the Solar Plexus Center from a simple emotional motor into an awareness center. Prior to this mutation, humanity were Seven-Centered Beings, corresponding to the 7 chakras of the Hindu-Brahmin system. The Nine-Centered Being has 9 Centers in their BodyGraph (including the separate Ajna Center for abstract mind awareness and the Solar Plexus Center as an evolving awareness center, in addition to the 7-Center structure). Nine-Centered Beings are fundamentally different in their design, purpose, and correct operation from their seven-centered predecessors — and all of the ancient wisdom traditions (yoga, Kabbalah, chakra systems) were designed for Seven-Centered Beings, not for us. Human Design is a system specifically received for and applicable to Nine-Centered Beings.
