In the context of Ra Uru Hu's teachings, certain Gates (particularly those within Individual circuitry and at pressure center connections, such as Gate 3, Gate 41, Gate 60) carry the energy of mutation: the breaking of established patterns and the introduction of something new. These Gates are described as "metamorphic" because their influence tends to precipitate transformation rather than continuity. Metamorphic Gates are significant in transit analysis, as their activation by transiting planets can trigger periods of change, disruption, and evolution for the individual and the collective.
