The Magnetic Monopole is a term from Ra Uru Hu's cosmology and mechanics referring to a unique field located in the G Center (Identity Center) of the Human Design BodyGraph. Unlike conventional magnets that have two poles (north and south, which both attract and repel), the Magnetic Monopole has only one pole — it only attracts, never repels. Ra Uru Hu described the Magnetic Monopole as the force that holds the Design Crystal (the unconscious, the vehicle) and the Personality Crystal (the conscious, the passenger) together in the same body, creating the unified experience of "a self." It is also the Magnetic Monopole that pulls the vehicle along its correct geometric trajectory through life — when we follow Strategy and Authority, we allow the Magnetic Monopole to do its work, guiding us to the right places, people, and circumstances without mental interference.
