Because the Sun and Earth are always in opposition (180 degrees apart), and the Personality and Design calculations are approximately 88 degrees apart, these 4 gates form a cross-like pattern on the BodyGraph wheel. There are 192 Incarnation Crosses, organized into 3 families: Right Angle Crosses (personal destiny — the life is about the self and its own fulfillment), Left Angle Crosses (transpersonal karma — the life requires and impacts others), and the Juxtaposition Cross (fixed fate — a very specific, narrow life path).
