A Human Design Calculation is the process of generating an individual's design kit (BodyGraph) using two distinct birth moments and two complete sets of planetary calculations. The Personality calculation uses the exact birth date, time, and location to determine the positions of 13 planetary activations (Sun, Earth, Moon, North Node, South Node, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto/Kiron). The Design calculation uses a moment approximately 88 solar degrees (roughly 88 days) before physical birth — the moment Ra Uru Hu identified as the point of the body's "crystallization." Both sets of planetary positions are then translated into the 64 Gates of the I-Ching using the Rave Mandala mapping system, producing the complete BodyGraph with its defined and undefined Centers, Channels, and Gates.
