Hexagram
One of the 64 I-Ching hexagrams that form the basis of the 64 Gates in the Human Design BodyGraph.
In Human Design, a Hexagram refers to one of the 64 hexagrams of the ancient Chinese I-Ching (Book of Changes). Each hexagram is a six-line figure composed of two stacked trigrams — the Lower Trigram (lines 1–3) and the Upper Trigram (lines 4–6) — with each line being either broken (yin) or unbroken (yang). Ra Uru Hu mapped all 64 hexagrams onto the BodyGraph as the 64 Gates, each corresponding to a unique energetic theme and function. The hexagrams are distributed around the Rave Mandala (the wheel) alongside the Western astrological zodiac. When a planet occupies a particular degree of the zodiac at the time of birth, it activates the corresponding hexagram/Gate in the BodyGraph.
