Head Center
The pressure center at the top of the BodyGraph — the source of inspiration and mental pressure to question.
The Head Center is one of the 9 Centers in the Human Design BodyGraph, located at the very top of the Design. It is a pressure center — not a motor — whose function is to generate inspirational pressure: the pressure to question, contemplate, and seek understanding about the mysteries of life. When defined, the Head Center creates consistent, reliable patterns of inspiration around specific themes; these individuals are reliably drawn to certain questions and mysteries. When undefined, the Head Center amplifies and samples the mental pressure of others, leading to the Not-Self pattern of trying to answer questions that are not yours to resolve. The Head Center has no direct motor function; its pressure is designed to inspire, not to drive action. It connects to the Ajna Center (Abstract Mind Center) below it.
