Exalted

The elevated or harmonious expression of an I-Ching hexagram line — the most favorable pole of a Line's expressive spectrum.

Exalted is one of the two polarities describing the spectrum of expression within each Line of the 64 hexagrams in the Rave I'Ching. It represents the elevated, harmonious, and most favorable expression of a line's theme.

Each Line of each hexagram has two poles:<br>- Exalted — the line's energy expressing in its most harmonious, elevated, or beneficial form<br>- Detriment — the shadow or obstructed expression of the line's theme

The Exalted expression does not mean a line is free from challenge or complexity — it means the line's energy is flowing in its optimal channel, expressing its theme in the most constructive or illuminating way. Some lines carry inherently challenging themes; in their Exalted form, even those challenges express with grace or purpose.

In the context of the full 384-line system (64 hexagrams × 6 lines × 6 Color sub-positions), Exalted and Detriment represent the upper and lower poles of each Color within each line. The precise sub-frequency determines whether a given activation is tending toward the Exalted or the Detriment pole of expression.

Understanding Exalted and Detriment together provides a complete picture of the range within any hexagram line — the best and most challenging potential expressions of a given activation.
