Dominance

In the Rave I'Ching, the dominant (exalted) expression of a hexagram line — the upper pole of the Line's spectrum.

Dominance in the Rave I'Ching refers to the upper or dominant pole of expression within a hexagram line — synonymous in some contexts with Exalted. Ra Uru Hu used the term "Dominance" in specific technical contexts within the 384-line system to describe the active, assertive, or elevated form of a line's expression.

In the mechanics of the Rave I'Ching, each line's expression operates across a spectrum defined by its Color, Tone, and Base sub-frequencies. Dominance refers to the energy of the line asserting itself fully, expressing its theme in its most potent, forceful, or elevated form.

In transit and activation analysis, Dominance indicates that the line's energy is operating at its peak expression — it is active, assertive, and carrying the full weight of its theme. This is not always "positive" in a conventional sense; a line in Dominance expresses its quality most strongly, which can be challenging if the theme itself carries difficulty.

Understanding Dominance alongside Detriment gives a complete picture of a line's expressive range — the high and low poles that define the full spectrum of any given activation's possible manifestation.
