The Design of Forms is a term from Ra Uru Hu's cosmological vocabulary referring to the overarching program or blueprint that governs the structure of physical existence — the template through which all material forms (including human vehicles) are organized and sustained.

In Ra's cosmology, the Biverse (the totality of existence) operates through programming: the neutrino stream carries information from every celestial body, and this stream programs all matter according to the Design of Forms. The Human Design BodyGraph is an individual-level expression of this larger program — a specific instance of the universal template applied to a single vehicle at a specific moment in time and space.

The Design of Forms encompasses the totality of what can be expressed through material existence: all 64 Gates, all 36 Channels, all 9 Centers, all possible Type configurations, Profiles, and Incarnation Crosses. Every individual BodyGraph is one unique combination drawn from the infinite potentials within the Design of Forms.

Understanding the Design of Forms contextualizes the Human Design system within Ra's larger cosmological teaching: we are not separate, individually-designed beings — we are each a specific, unique expression of a single overarching cosmic program.
