Deconditioning is the process by which a human being gradually releases the conditioning that has accumulated in their undefined Centers — the borrowed energies, beliefs, and not-self patterns absorbed from the auras of others over a lifetime. It is not a mental process, a healing modality, or a spiritual practice. It is a biological and cellular process that happens naturally when a being consistently lives by their correct Strategy and Authority.
Ra Uru Hu taught that deconditioning takes approximately 7 years — the rough timeframe for the body's cells to fully turn over and for the nervous system to re-pattern itself around the authentic design. This does not mean seven years of discipline or effort; it means seven years of experimenting with Strategy and Authority, decision by decision, allowing the body's intelligence to gradually override the conditioned not-self patterns.
The undefined Centers are the sites of conditioning: each undefined Center has absorbed and amplified the defined energies of others, creating a false sense of consistent access to those energies. Deconditioning reveals which aspects of one's sense of self were genuinely one's own design, and which were borrowed — the conditioning of family, culture, relationships, and environment.
Deconditioning does not lead to a blank state or the disappearance of personality. It leads to the authentic expression of the defined design — and to an increasingly healthy relationship with the undefined Centers as sources of wisdom rather than sources of compulsion.
