The Rave Chart (also called the design kit in ICONIC editorial style) is the complete Human Design document generated from an individual's birth data. It is the primary tool of Human Design analysis.

The Rave Chart contains:<br>- The BodyGraph — the mandala showing nine Centers, 36 Channels, and 64 Gates<br>- Personality (black) activations — planet positions at exact birth time<br>- Design (red) activations — planet positions approximately 88 degrees of Sun before birth<br>- Type — Generator, Manifesting Generator (Generator subset), Projector, Manifestor, or Reflector<br>- Strategy — the correct behavioral approach for the Type<br>- Authority — the body's inner decision-making intelligence<br>- Profile — the role/costume for the lifetime (1/3, 2/4, etc. — 12 Profiles total)<br>- Incarnation Cross — the life theme derived from the Personality and Design Sun/Earth gates<br>- Variables — four arrows indicating the PHS/cognitive variables (Arrow directions)<br>- Definition type — Single, Split, Triple Split, or Quadruple Split

The Rave Chart is the foundation of every Human Design reading. It is calculated using astronomical ephemeris data for both the Personality (birth moment) and Design (prenatal imprint) activations, and processed through the 64-gate structure of the Rave I'Ching.
