The Channel of Money connects Gate 21 (Control — Ego/Will) with Gate 45 (Gathering Together — Throat). This is the archetypal tribal leadership channel: the Ego's will to control material resources (Gate 21) expressed through the Throat's voice of material authority and gathering (Gate 45). Gate 21 carries the Ego/Will's drive to control — to manage and direct the material resources of the community; Gate 45 is the king or queen's voice: "I have" — the gathering of the tribe around shared material resources. Together they form Money: the channel of tribal material leadership, the capacity to manage, organize, and direct communal resources.
