Bardo Sequence

Ra Uru Hu's cosmological description of the transition between incarnations — the journey of the Personality Crystal after physical death.

The Bardo Sequence is Ra Uru Hu's technical description of what happens to consciousness between incarnations. Drawing on the Tibetan Buddhist concept of the Bardo (an intermediate state between death and rebirth) and recontextualizing it within the Human Design cosmological framework, Ra described a specific sequence through which the Personality Crystal travels after the death of the physical vehicle.

In Ra's cosmology, at physical death, the Personality Crystal and the Design Crystal separate. The Design Crystal returns to the Biverse to enter a new vehicle. The Personality Crystal, however, undergoes a transition sequence — a processing of the completed incarnation — before it, too, returns to the Biverse to be re-bundled with a new Design Crystal for the next incarnation.

The Bardo Sequence is not a linear journey toward "enlightenment" — it is a mechanical process governed by the same neutrino physics and crystal mechanics that govern all of life in Ra's system. The quality of the transition is influenced by how awake the individual was during their lifetime — how much they were able to simply observe rather than be identified with the conditioned not-self.
