Angle
One of three fundamental orientations in Human Design determined by the Incarnation Cross: Right Angle, Left Angle, or Juxtaposition.
Every Incarnation Cross in Human Design falls into one of three Angles, determined by the Lines activated in the Personality Sun/Earth and Design Sun/Earth:
Right Angle (Lines 1–4 in the Incarnation Cross): Personal destiny. The Right Angle individual is here for a personal journey — their life theme is self-discovery. They are not here to fix the world or fulfill a transpersonal purpose; they are here to live their design fully. Others may benefit from their journey, but the journey itself is personal. Right Angle crosses carry the themes of Lines 1 through 4.
Left Angle (Lines 5–6 in the Incarnation Cross): Transpersonal destiny. The Left Angle individual has a fundamentally transpersonal life — they are here for others, to play specific roles in the lives of specific people. Their life is about meeting the right people at the right time. Left Angle crosses carry the themes of Lines 5 and 6.
Juxtaposition (Fixed fate): The single Juxtaposition Cross sits at the intersection — it is a fixed path with no deviation. The Juxtaposition individual walks a narrow, predetermined road. They are not here to be flexible — they have a specific role to fulfill in this lifetime.
